Fright Fest presented by Snickers runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from September 12 through October 31, 2026, which is 22 nights on the park's calendar, and this year's lineup is 13 haunted experiences deep, 5 of them brand new. The returning headliners are two licensed mazes, The Conjuring Universe and SAW: Legacy of Terror, plus two new original mazes and a new scare zone or two thrown in. Fright Fest opened Saturday, Sept. 12, and runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Saturday, Oct. 31. Fridays are Fright Fest only, 6 to 11 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, the park opens at noon for Tricks and Treats, Fright Fest takes over at 6 p.m., and the park closes at 10 p.m. most nights, 11 p.m. on Oct. 17, 24 and 31. Monday, Oct. 12 is daytime only, no Fright Fest.

One date needs a flag: Six Flags' event page still lists Sunday, Nov. 1 as the last day of Fright Fest, but the park's own operating calendar has the park open that day without Fright Fest on it. Check the official calendar before you plan a trip around Nov. 1.

Five mazes are on the Haunted Attractions Pass this year, two of them brand new:
Five scare zones roam the park after dark, two of them new: Dreadwell Brothers Carnival of Curiosities (deranged carnies working an abandoned midway) and Nevermore (a fog-choked realm of towering raven-like creatures), alongside returning zones Disciples of the Beast, Rockville's Festival of Fright, and The Rotted Ones.
Three live shows are included too. The Mare is new for 2026, built around a "Nightmare" character leading a crew of break-dancing zombies. The returning shows are Dr. Fright's Deadman's Party and The Awakening.
Costume contests, character meet-and-greets, trick-or-treating, and family activities during daylight hours, before the park switches over for the night. All-ages, no scares, included with admission.

Regular park admission and season passes get you into the park, the scare zones, the live shows, and after-dark rides. The 5 haunted mazes are separate: you need a Haunted Attractions Pass or the Fright Fest Bundle, which combines single-night admission with maze access starting at $69.
Six Flags Over Georgia says Fright Fest isn't recommended for children under 13. The daytime event, Tricks & Treats, is the family-friendly option: costume contests, trick-or-treating, and kid activities with zero scares.

It's the park's own rule, not something specific to Fright Fest: guests 17 and under need a chaperone who's 21 or older during all operating hours. One chaperone can cover up to five guests and has to show a government photo ID at the gate.
