Still deciding on Express Pass?

Is Epic Universe's Express worth it? How to outsmart the lines without it

⚠️ Know Before You Ride

  • First Time? Skip Single Rider: You will bypass the Pre-Show tutorial and won't know how to aim or use items.
  • Hair Warning: The AR Visor has a tight plastic headband. High ponytails or buns will be uncomfortable or impossible to fit. Wear your hair down or low.
  • Sensory Warning: The queue is cavernous and features race sounds/music that echo. It can be very loud.

Why does the line feel so long?

The Mario Kart queue is incredibly detailed, immersing you in Bowser's Castle. This helps the time pass, but the hidden switchbacks in the factory can make estimating your remaining wait difficult. Use this guide to track your progress.

Mario Kart posts triple digits by late morning and loads slowly, so it's one of the rides people most want to pay to skip. Epic's Express is single use per ride and runs up to $362 a person. We ran the math against a free, timed day: Is Epic Express worth it? →
