The EPCOT rope drop order, with or without Early Entry

1. 8:30a

   Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

   This is the one must-do-first line at EPCOT. It holds in the 60s and 70s until it peaks in the evening, so there's no dip to wait for. Lightning Lane Single Pass is the paid alternative if you'd rather not stand in the standby line.

2. 9:45a

   Test Track

   Second stop, right next door in World Discovery, once Guardians is behind you. Test Track typically runs 70 to 75 min once the park fills, so bank it while the morning crowd is still behind you.

3. 11:05a

   Soarin' Across America

   The walk to World Nature is a real one, and by now Soarin' has settled into its afternoon plateau. It won't climb from here, so ride it now instead of later this afternoon.

4. 11:55a

   Spaceship Earth

   Back near World Celebration on your way toward World Showcase. It has a small late-morning bump and eases off after that, so it's an easy add before you commit to the loop.

5. 7:00p

   Remy's Ratatouille Adventure

   France sits on the far side of the World Showcase loop from the front of the park, so on this route it's an evening return trip. Typical waits run 40 to 50 min, and it's shorter early, so if Remy's is your must-do, ride it right after Test Track instead.

6. 8:10p

   Frozen Ever After

   Continue the loop to Norway. Typical waits run 45 to 55 min, and it's a long way back from the front of the park, so fold it into the loop on your way out.

   Same move as the Early Entry crowd, just from the gate instead of a head start. The line holds in the 60s and 70s until it peaks in the evening, so there's no standby trick that beats getting here first. Lightning Lane Single Pass is the paid alternative if the standby line runs too long for your day.

   Test Track

   Second stop in World Discovery, right after Guardians. Test Track typically runs 70 to 75 min once the park fills, so take it now rather than letting the rest of the morning pile in ahead of you.

3. 11:45a

   Soarin' Across America

   The cross-park walk to World Nature takes a while, and by now Soarin' has already reached its afternoon plateau. At least it holds there instead of climbing further, so there's no reason to wait.

4. 12:35p

   Spaceship Earth

   A short walk back toward World Celebration. By early afternoon it's already easing off its late-morning bump, so it's a low-stakes stop before you head into World Showcase.

5. 7:00p

   Remy's Ratatouille Adventure

   Same evening return as the Early Entry route. France is the far side of the World Showcase loop, and typical waits run 40 to 50 min. It's shorter early, so if Remy's is your must-do, ride it right after Test Track instead.

6. 8:10p

   Frozen Ever After

   Last stop on the World Showcase loop. Typical waits at Frozen Ever After run 45 to 55 min, so ride it on your way out rather than crossing the park for it at midday.

EPCOT is a big park to cross on foot, and World Showcase runs as one long loop behind it. Times assume a 9am open, so shift them to your date's posted hours. Both tabs ride the same six headliners in the same order; Early Entry guests just start 30 minutes earlier, and every line behind them stays shorter through the morning.

This plan will break too. In July and August 2026, at least one of EPCOT's six tracked headliners was down or closed for 30 minutes or longer in the middle of the day on all 30 operating days we measured, 66 ride-day outages total. When it happens, don't just stand there: check the posted wait at your next stop and be ready to swap the order above. We don't have live EPCOT waits in the Ride Ready app yet, so working around a breakdown here is still on you, until Disney World lands there.
